Special FX Gelatin – Light Flesh, 3oz

BGE FX Gelatin is formulated to resemble the look and movement of real skin. It can be used to make realistic prosthetics such as cuts, burns, lacerations and many other effects.

Available variations:

• Colors: Clear, Light Flesh, Medium Flesh, Dark Flesh, Blood
• Sizes: 3oz, 6oz, 16oz

To use:
1. Cut gelatin into small cubes. Place small cubes in a microwave safe recipient.
2. Heat up in microwave for 5 seconds and stir with a wooden stick for 5 seconds to distribute heat.
3. Use a thermometer to ensure safe and accurate temperature (130 degrees Fahrenheit).
4. Heat up for 5 seconds more and stir again if needed.
DO NOT USE GELATIN PACKAGE FOR HEATING UP GELATIN.

Pros:
– Use when time is limited or if molds are not available.
– Five color options available, clear, light flesh, medium flesh, dark flesh and blood.
– Can be remelted for future use.
-Easy to clean with soap and water.
-Different color gelatin can be mixed to achieve desired skin tones.

Cons:
-Will not work well when excessive perspiration is present.
-Not recommended for hot or rainy weather.

CAUTION:
-Blood gelatin might stain. Test for staining.
-When working with gelatin, make sure it’s at a safe temperature. Overheated gelatin can cause third degree burns and should be avoided.
-This is not a toy. Children should not handle gelatin in its melted phase.
-Not for consumption by humans or pets.
